Day 6 Dry January 2021


Afternoon Everyone, lunchtime already, how did that happen?

I did my usual 5am wake up & remembered the weirdest dream. I was doing a 'Live' for a 'Mum's Group' & my contact had asked me to do it from a glass house in a park (something similar to the Greenhouses in Q Gardens - a big thing full of tropical plants) Anyhow, I started filming to this new audience from my mobile phone & the next thing I know this man dressed in a gorilla's outfit came & sat right next to me! A bit too close & it all felt a bit too weird, so I got up & moved to sit somewhere else so that I could continue my 'live' & next to me the gorilla sat again!!!! This happened about 4 times before I woke up in a hot sweat thinking what could all of that mean???? it really was a bit strange.

I digress.....

So how are you all? How are you notebooks going?

Have any of you got 'the Boing' yet? I do hope so - we're all different but it usually happens around Day 6 or 7 - if it hasn't, it will, worry not my friends.

Time fillers here are some ideas for you: Boxsets, Netflix, Prime, Sky Go, BBC iPlayer - I use someone else's Sky Go & Prime. Others have the log in to my Netflix - ask your Tribe if you can use their logins - adds to your watching landscape. I can highly recommend Bridgton on Netflix - the Duke of Hastings is very pleasing to the eye!! The Gentlemen which is a film on Prime - very good - Hugh Grant as you've never seen him before & my all time fave Michael McConaughey (scrumptious!!)

More fillers: Online crosswords, jigsaws, sudoku check them out. Virtual Tours of Museums, Art Galleries, Stately Homes they all do them & most of them are free when you sign up for their newsletter. Have a look at the Open University they have loads of free online courses - well worth a look. Online Yoga & other fitness. Make sure you get out in the fresh air but stay safe.

Lockdown can be very lonely - contact your Tribe (friends & family) check in with them - go on give them a call.
